I specialize in sports performance and sports related issues (e.g., performance anxiety, difficulty with motivation; end of career transitions; sports trauma, relational issues, ADHD, anxiety, and peak performance). I use evidence- based practices and provide a safe space to reach treatment goals. I am passionate about helping individuals, families and athletic teams better understand themselves and their relationships in order to reach their goals and increase their joy for life. EXPERIENCE

Growing up as a gymnast for 11 years drew me into the field of athletic coaching for the next 25. During this period, I developed programs, supervised staff, and helped children and teens overcome fears and adversity, strive to meet goals, and experience success. This led to my passion in sports performance therapy, and to obtaining a Master's degree in Couples and Family Therapy, becoming a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapy and running a business specializing in sports performance therapy and coaching with child, teen, adult athletes, and sports teams. I have gained a depth of experience working in school settings and community outreach programs, as well as contracting with a large health care organization to provide therapeutic services to adults. I aim to use creativity, attunement, and an ability to help others feel understood as tools to assist clients in making sense of and healing the negative impact of painful past experiences so as to gain access to peak performance. I work to create an atmosphere of safety and positivity which is conducive to supporting children, individuals, sports teams, and families in reaching their unique life goals.
